Steelmakers face further cost increases
According to Reuters, spiraling coal prices are set to hit the Steelmakers in May or June, when new long term contracts have to be negotiated. Prices for hard coking coal have more than doubled in the last year.

More "Lightning" strikes for the German Steel Industry
Union IG Metall said today, that they will be staging more temporary stoppages throughout German Steelworks next week.
The strikes will begin on Monday in support of an 8% pay rise claim by the union.
