Canadian Steel Industry Lauds Ruling On Unfair Imports
Canadian steel companies Algoma, Dofasco and IPSCO are pleased with a Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) decision to continue a Hot-Rolled steel sheet dumping finding against Brazil, China, Chinese Taipei, India, South Africa and Ukraine, and to continue a subsidy finding against India.

Wickeder Westfalenstahl buys back 25.1 pct stake from ThyssenKrupp
ThyssenKrupp AG issued a statement saying that Wickeder Westfalenstahl GmbH has bought back a 25.1 pct stake from ThyssenKrupp’s Steel unit for an undisclosed amount.
ThyssenKrupp said it sold the stake as part of its ongoing effort to focus on core steel production activities.
