Steel Strip

As a service to the steel community, we have been developing over the past year, two separate steel search tools based on the Google and and Swicki engines.

They differ from traditional searching tools in that they only search specific sites. This offers the advantage of the results being far more relevant, as we can add steel related sites and exclude others. As an example, a search for CS1 (which is a BS1449 Steel Strip Grade) , will bring up thousands off results for varied components carrying a code "CS1", where as the steel search engines show only relevant results.

We have been adding sites to both steel search databases for some time, but would now like to invite readers to submit their own sites for inclusion in the searches. If you have a steel related site that you would like to include, please email us at steve@steelstrip.co.uk .

To qualify your site must contain information other than your name, address and a picture or two.

If your site has real content that you feel would be of interest and benefit to the steel community, we would be delighted to add it, and we hope in return that this will increase your visitor numbers.
