Hardened and Tempered Steel Strip

Hardened and Tempered Carbon Steel Strip is produced using a heat treatment process that
achieves strength through a controlled heating and cooling process.

Hardened and Tempered Steel Strip is used in many applications including saws, cutting tools as well as springs.

BSS are the UK agents for Rizzato Nastri Acciaio s.p.a. They are located in Veneto, Italy and specialise in the production of high carbon hardenable and hardened steel strip. The facility benefits from having two Zendzimir cluster mills and the ability offer thicknesses from 0.05mm thick. Material is produced to your exact requirements in terms of hardness, finish and tolerances.

We are also able to offer a number of standard thicknesses from stock in smaller quantities. We stock CS70, and CS80 annealed or CS80 and CS95 hardened and tempered (polished).
CS 70 annealed in 0.70, 0.80, 1.00, 1.20, 1.50 and 2.00mm

CS 80 annealed in 0.30, 0.50, 0.60, 0.80, 1.00, 1.22, 1.83 and 2.64mm

CS80 H&T  0.25, 0.60, 0.70, 0.80, 1.00, 1.22, 1.42, 1.63 1.83, 2.00 and 2.64mm

CS95 H&T thickness'  from 0.05 to 1.63mm
